After the sad loss of our much loved Yorkshire Terrier - Jasmine - in 1980, it was distressing to discover that after leaving her at the Veterinary Surgeons she would have been buried on a Council rubbish tip. We were then given the only other option of taking her home to bury her in our garden. There was no other dignified option.
